BMW M5 vs Audi RS5: Performance Sucking Rivals

1
For those who want to go for a four seated luxury car that comes loaded with all the advanced amenities and at the same time, has the looks and reputation to envy for, there is a plethora of options. You got almost all the major car manufacturing brands that cater to this segment. Of course your choice and priorities play the major role but there always is something that most of the people desire in their cars. Some cars fulfill this void and some may offer a lot but not what most people want. BMW’s M5, the feature rich, high performance car, is arguably the daddy of all in this segment as mentioned by some experts. On the other hand we have Audi RS5 which strives to compete with the propeller badge. I must say, these two German car manufacturers pose a tough competition for each other. BMW M5 boasts of a high-revving 560 horsepower 4.4 liter V8 engine that generates the maximum torque to the tune of 680 NM whereas Audi RS5 manages to grind out power of 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque with its 4.2 liter FSI V8 engine. Audi RS5 is loaded with seven speed S-tronic transmission and Quattro all wheel drive which efficiently divides the power between all the wheels. The Twin Scroll Turbo technology coupled with M transmission makes the BMW M5 to zoom from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just a matter of 4.4 seconds. The BMW M5 has an efficient engine that gives 28.5 miles per gallon of fuel consumption. The top speed it can attain is 250 kilometers per hour with an optional package that can increase the top speed.
2011 Ford Fusion

Ford Fusion vs Honda Accord

0
Honda Accord and Ford Fusion are both luxury sedan cars that are highly popular as family sedan cars around the world. These two mid-sized sedans compete with each other along with the other similar cars launched by the other car makers. The performance of the Ford Fusion is better than what Honda Accord can offer. Accord can crank out 177 hp to 190 hp based on the trims you use whereas Fusion can generate way much higher power at 175 hp to 263 hp. The engine options available in the Accord range from the base engine that is a four cylinder 2.4 liter engine to the high end V6 engine that can generate a better output. On the other hand the power generated in the Fusion engine is because of the availability of the engines ranging from 2.5 liter four cylinder base engine to the Sports version 3.5 liter V6 engine. As far as the performance goes, Ford Fusion is a winner. Looking at the luxury in the form of the engine performance, we would definitely say that you should go for the Ford Fusion and even it gives you a better fuel economy as well. Ford Fusion is a mid size sedan which is used largely for family car purposes. So is the Honda Accord, but the space is a tad larger than what you would find in the Ford rival. However one can say that there is not much difference between the two cars in the terms of the rear or front space or legroom and headroom. Even the fuel economy does not have any considerable difference. The dimensions of both the cars are also almost similar. The torque available in the Ford Fusion is higher than what you get in Honda Accord, so when you sit behind the wheels you would see more power coming from the Ford engines. Both the cars can seat up to 5 people. The cargo area in the rear is larger in the Ford which lets you put your carry more luggage with ease.
Hyundai Eon

Alto vs Spark vs Eon: Maruti vs Chevrolet vs Hyundai

0
Hyundai has managed to keep all car manufacturers on pins and on the edge of their seats before they launched the Hyundai EON. Set to compete against the Maruti’s limited edition small family car Alto and Chevrolet’s highly popular and successful Spark, the Hyundai Eon was bound to ruffle the feathers of established car manufacturer’s in India. Maruti Alto and Chevrolet Spark both have good host of features and are well established in their own sectors ready to competitively compete against any new entrant. All three cars have varying engine capacities within the same bracket, ranging from 796cc to 814cc till 995cc; of Maruti Alto, Hyundai EON and Chevrolet Spark respectively. The 9 valves in the Eon engine gives better mileage but the lesser number of valves might cause frequent changing of gears in heavy traffic or while driving on hilly terrain. The EON provides 1-2 kmpl better mileage than the Alto or Spark.
Audi R8 Rear Spoiler

Audi R8 GT vs Audi R8 V10

0
Audi is the leading German car manufacturer which keeps reinventing in order to come up with the best possible cars available to the buyers. During its history, Audi has seen ups and downs however the cars that it has launched have always been one of the best in the class. Keeping its legacy alive, Audi launched Audi R8 GT which is a super power limited edition car. This happens to be very expensive as well. On the other hand another marvel from Audi that we will be comparing with the revolutionary R8 GT is Audi R8 V10. V10 is another powerful super car which has helped Audi position its feet against the competition firmly. The engine of the new Audi R8 GT is powered by the 5.2 liter V10 engine which cranks out a whopping 560 hp and 398 pound feet of torque. Honda Brio

Honda Brio vs Hyundai Eon

3
A short time span of dew weeks, the two small hatchbacks came out in the market from two legendary brands. Honda, a pioneer in creating bold and eye catching cars rolled out its Brio (bree-oo) few weeks ago which is a small compact car with engine churning out 88ps of max power. In context, the Hyundai, creator of innovative technologies placed a mini hatchback, Eon. It gets a smaller engine producing only 56ps of power which is relatively less as compared to that of Brio. So, both the cars will be representing a different segment in the same hatchback form. Honda Brio is the smallest car from the brand and is also the cheapest model from house. The exteriors are completely fresh and are targeted to attract youth. The front grille is small and bold, rear lid is more of a glass rather than being half metal and half glass and complete the shape is aerodynamic which is slanted upwards from front window to the rear. The interiors don’t attract much and are just simple plastic being arranged as what the normal cars do. The dashboard design could have been better as the things don’t look like seamless. Brio is powered with a 1.2L iVTEC engine pumping out 88ps of power. Brio returns about 18km per litre through its advanced designed engine. Power steering, air conditioning, central locking is standard in all. A new feature is introduced which tells the fuel consumption of car.
