Toyota at Auto Expo 2012 Unveils it’s Legends
The Automotive Fairs are a great chance for each and every brand to showcase about their happenings and developments. The platform clearly displays the potential of all brands under one roof where one can evaluate as which brand stands were in the crowd.
Toyota, the world’s top leading brand in the automotive industry unveiled three of it’s instances in the Auto Expo 2012 in Delhi. Their stall hosted a variety of vehicles that was easily grabbing a lot of attention which included the new Toyota Etios Racing Concept, new Liva Racing Concept, face-lifted Innova, new Fortuner, Camry and Corolla. All these vehicles are jewels in their segments except the Liva and Etios. They have to struggle hard further in order to compete with the rivals.
Toyota Innova has already done good and has brought many people smile with it’s performance and luxury factors. The interiors which very comfortably accommodated the passengers is now spiced up more with new functionalities like Touch Screen Multimedia system, integrated audio controls on steering, new dashboard and few bits more.
On the other hand, the massive Fortuner which is already ruling the roads received a frontal makeup on grille and headlights. This SUV has a presence that catches attention wherever it passes by. The competitors like Chevrolet Captiva, Honda CR-V and Hyundai Santa-Fe still have to fight hard to get going in such a tough segment. The interiors are also spruced up with new tech and gadget stuff. The automatic transmission which was not available in the 4×2 Fortuner is now added to easy driving lovers.
Toyota Camry has shot a big bullet for the premium car segment. The new 2012 Camry has got an awesome bold looks with a perfect makeover on the frontal fascia. The new 2.5L engine produces a max power of 174bhp to move the long body and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Automatic transmission is also available as an option. From now on, the complete car kits will be imported and then will be assembled in India so a price drop can be expected.
Toyota also unveiled it’s legendary Land Cruiser SUV which can be called the daddy of all SUVs. With a host of features to walk on any terrain is the specialty of this vehicle and it manages to stay intact like that. After so many progresses and technology achievements by other brand, the Land Cruiser still stays at top.
