Chevrolet is all set to get thrills to the car enthusiasts through plethora of vehicles in its four-segmented stall. The things are going to change from old and the brand has plans to dig deep inside the Indian automotive market by fine tuning its present models. Chevrolet divided the stall in three segments named Chevrolet Next, Chevrolet Technology and Innovation and Chevrolet Performance.

Chevrolet Next section is showcasing the products that will be launched in this year. This includes an uplifted Tavera called as Tavero Neo3 which is all spiced up with refreshing look. The new 2012 Tavera will now not look boring and simple vehicle; it will rather carry some bold looks. The front grille is split into two with Chevrolet Badge at centre. The bumpers are adapted to carry some sporty looks. The 4-cylinder, 2.0 litre TCDi diesel engine churns out 106.8ps @ 4,000 rpm and a torque of 263.7Nm @ 2,500 rpm. The model will also be available in a 2.5 litre turbocharged BS3 engine option.

The second car that captured attention was the new 2012 Captiva. This already bold SUV is now grown smarter with Crusie Control, electric parking brake, rain sensing vipers and electric sunroof. The car carries far better looks than its predecessor and the company stays confident in increased number of sales figures. Captiva will now be powered with 2.2L Common Rail Direct Injection TCDI engine pumping out 186.5ps of total power with a max torque of 424Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission which is available as a standard. The car will be available in only one trim and will be priced around Rs.22 lakhs.

Above the two models, the brand also focused onto the launch of Sail hatchback which is the next major step of Chevrolet into the world of small cars. The hatchback segment still has the opportunity as there is a gap in perfectly mated car. The other update was the Chevrolet Beat Music Edition which was painted in orange color with white stripes to give the car a bright and young look. It also carried a custom music system as per the name suggests.

Along the side, the Chevrolet also represented few of its icon cars including Camaro convertible, Corvette Stingray Concept and Cruze Racing. These are expected to gaze attention as the cars are new to Indian enthusiasts.
