A Glimpse on The Auto Expo 2012

The largest Auto Show of India, known as Auto Expo brings a lot of news and updates about the automotive industry every year. This event is held together by ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association), SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) and CII (Confederation of Indian Industry. The show is scheduled to be held in the month of Jan and this year too, Auto Expo 2012 is scheduled on the dates 5-12^th Jan. The event will take place at the much known Pragati Maidan of New Delhi were most of the big events are done. Pragati Maidan is divided into a few buildings where the events can be organised accordingly between different aspects.

Slowly and steadily, the Indian automotive market has grown into an enormous platform of opportunities for many international car makers and in the 11^th Auto Expo 2012, a bunch of international brands are participating to launch their premium segments. Mercedes, Jaguar, Audi, Volkswagen, Nissan, Peugeot, Chevrolet are few to count that will be presenting their models along with the future line up. Many auto enthusiasts from all over the world gather together be a part of this very major event of the automotive world.

Many other national and international events take place here and this is the permanent place for events like Nehru Pavilion, Atomic Energy and Defence Pavilion.

Nizamuddin Railway Station is the nearest station which is just 3km away from the event place. The easiest way to reach the event is through the metro rail which will drop you directly at Pragati Maidan Metro station.
