What Flaws Sit Behind the 2012 BMW X5!
The German car maker BMW entered into the SUV market with the launch of the BMW X5, which is marketed as an SAV i.e. Sports Activity Vehicle instead of an SUV. SUVs around the world are attracting a lot of heat because of the increased awareness and hype about the carbon emissions and climate change concerns. The car is called an SAV because BMW promises a great on road stance along with the exceptional off road capabilities that the car can offer. The BMW X5 has a great reputation and is the desirable car for many car lovers.
Despite all such great aspects there are bound to be some negative aspects and flaws behind the BMW X5 brand. If you are planning to shell out big bucks for the brand new 2012 BMW X5 these points would help you make an informed decision before you take a plunge.
Here are the major concerns with the 2012 BMW X5:
-The biggest aspect that many would not like about the BMW X5 is the price that one has to shell out for buying a Bimmer X5. The crossover luxury car would cost a bomb. Many would not be able to afford and those who can may benefit by having a look at the alternatives. There are a number of cheaper alternatives which have equally good features and amenities on offer. The high price is a result of the propeller badge being studded on the crossover. This is what makes it so costly.
-One more thing that many would not like about this wagon is the standard steering wheel. The steering wheel is very stiff and does not move easily. Many would find it annoying as well as uncomfortable. If you are one of those who want a smooth steering wheel may want to stay away from the BMW X5. The steering wheel does have a number of technological marvels and it is studded with the controls as well. What we also found a little uncomfortable about the steering wheel is that the control buttons are too small and it is almost a pain to actually control it with these buttons. Getting used to all these high tech control is also something that is supposed to take some time.
-The fuel economy is another aspect that you would not really like about this Beemer. It does have the technology in place that tends to save fuel as compared to other SUVs but after all this is also an SUV and the gas guzzling guts of an SUV cannot be eliminated. This aspect would make the fuel costs and maintenance of the car even more costly.
-The leather seats in the car are not standard. If one needs leather seats they would have to pay extra for this luxury. The crossover which is already so expensive tends to be more expensive as we look at the extras and options.
-The seats are comfortable overall and luxury can be felt. But the third row of the seating system is very cramped.
The whole new 2012 BMW X5 package is amazing in the eyes of everyone but their are things that need to be considered before buying it actually and knowing the negative aspects first proves to be helping. The above were few thing s that we considered as important but still their are many positive aspects of this SUV that are considered as threat to other ones in the same category. Hope the above data to be useful and if you have some suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment.
