2011 Lamborghini Aventador
Truly Heart Striking, that’s what it gives on first impression. One of the latest jewels of the Lamborghini camp is the bold and sexy 2011 Lamborghini Aventador. Made its debut on the Geneva Motor Show on 28th February, the 2011 Lamborghini Aventador brings to the delight of car enthusiasts, sheer raw power matched with an enrapturing sleek design. Belonging to the class of exquisite sports cars, the Aventador LP 700-4 is a masterpiece to behold.
Tagged as the new Italian Raging Bull, the 2011 Lamborghini Aventador is named after the legendary fighting bull ‘Aventador’, known best for its absolute power, strength and agility in the fighting arena. The fierce animal has said to have come from the stables of the sons of Don Celestino Cuadri Vides and was marked as number 32. It is known to have gone down in a fierce fight of its life.
While justifying its name, the Lamborghini Aventador combines a stylized exterior with brute strength. It presents enterprising interiors making it a super fast, luxurious style statement. Unveiled in a neon orange hue, the 2011 Lamborghini Aventador is a two door, double seater and flaunts a Formula One-style suspension with a superior light weight chassis. It is as powerful in its performance as it is in appearance.
Designed by Graziano Trasmissioni, it is anticipated that the new Lamborghini Aventador is likely to over-shadow the ten years old Murcielago, which has been the head of the line of Lamborghini’s fleet of exotic sports cars for many years now.
Claimed to be miles ahead of the popular Lamborghini Murcielago, the Aventador bring together innovative design and state of the art technology to form a high performance vehicle. The creased lines on the body of the 2011 Lamborghini Aventador give it a mean, muscled look, reminding one of the violent yet magnificently elegant animal after which it is named.
The performance of the new Aventador is as enchanting as its form mesmerizing. While continuing in the tradition of the cars of its class, this car packs exhilarating speed in a light form. The 2011 Lamborghini Aventador comes with a mid engine layout. It’s 6.5L V12 engine (L539) gives the car max performance allowing it to go 0-62 mph (0–100 km/h) in just a matter of 2.9 seconds with a max speed of 217 mph (350 km/h). It is further complemented by a single clutch, 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. The 2011 Lamborghini Aventador has a specially formulated reinforced carbon fiber one piece passenger cell, formed with the help of the Boeing Aerospace.
Production for the much awaited 2011 Lamborghini Aventador, is slated to start in August at Lamborghini manufacturing unit at Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. It is estimated that over 700 to 800 cars would be crafted in a year, though the total production is not likely to exceed more than 4000 pieces.
The latest Lamborghini avatar- the engaging 2011 Aventador promises to excite the market not only with its bold color but also its vibrant personality. Car aficionados round the world are getting excited to get their hands on this speed bull. With selective numbers to be up for sale, this Lamborghini has become a priced possession to be owned.
The only drawback I found with Lamborghini’s are their so long names that can’t be remembered at once.
