The all rigid featured Mitsubishi Pajero was launched in India in 2002 by the Kolkata based HM (Hindustan Motors). The SUV has been built locally to suit Indian roads and traffic conditions. The diesel engine is quite powerful which delivers great power along with a good mileage. The Pajero is basically an off road vehicle meant for long journeys. It is quite spacious and therefore can easily accommodate six passengers. HM introduced several new versions of this SUV which are actually re-vamped versions of the first model.

Now days there are many other SUVs in the market built to give a tough competition to Pajero. There has been an affect to the sales but to overcome this, company has launched the 2011 Mitsubishi Pajero. There are driving modes which allow you to change the nature of driving according to road conditions.
