Volkswagen has unveiled its newer model of Eos that comprises features of a Cabriolet along with coupe. The hard top roof goes under the hood in merely 25 seconds, and also the 2012 Eos is the first model to offer optional sliding/tilting sunroof that gives a breathe of fresh air even when you are under the hood. The car is designed to seat 4-passengers comfortably and provides enough room for the rear passengers so not to cramp their legs. The front seats can be opted for electrical functionality that also fuses the easy entry system within itself for moving the seat forward and backward again to its initial position.

There are options of TDI engines as well as TSI engines with high torque to facilitate enjoyable and effort free driving. TSI engines are equipped with Blue motion technology that results in fuel efficient and low-emission driving. There are many other features that keep the 2012 Eos in a very distinct category of Cabriolets. The diesel models are not available in US, as they are more into the gasoline powered engines.

Eos can be brought for $33,995 in US as the Komfort trim which is the very basic model for this car. The premium trim, Executive is priced at $39,220 which enhances the distinct image of Eos to a bold one.
