Review of Chevrolet Beat: Facelift Required
The recent workout on the road says that the Chevy’s Beat is not getting that much claimed by the public. The expected response is much deviated from the actual one. Although, the car is good, the built quality is good, what might be the reasons for the car not getting spread like a viral? Here are few of the reasons which I think are disappointing:
-Bigger Headlights
The headlights equipped in a beat are too big in ratio to the whole car. From the front, it occupies a lot of space and the bonnet and bumpers look smaller due to its large shape. And again, if the headlight is curved to much onto the side views of a car, it looks a bit of extra stuff.
-Overly use of chrome highlighting
The use of chrome highlights in the car makes a bit eye catching, but if it is overly placed at undesirable places, then the attraction of the car reduces. In the Beat, the chrome highlights are placed overly at the front grille, rear lamps, fog light surroundings and the roof rails. The decency of a car hides into these.
-Inside dials are too small
The dials present inside are a great concept, but they are too small and don’t hold a good view if seen from the driver seat. Bigger dials would look great at the same place.
-Looks lack decency.
The looks of the Beat are a bit too bright for everyone. The car lacks few bits of decency right from the front till the rear end.
The company should consider a updated version of Beat to catch more amount of sales growth because the competition is getting high in the smaller segment of cars and even people are changing their decision not because of money, but just because they are not fully satisfied. The customers now are fonder of the quality now days and money is the second consideration.
The engine and technology used by the Chevrolet is too good, but the looks are all that are pushing the car back. A bit of facelift will work for the greater sales.

They need to go back to the drawing board on this one
