Ford is planning to launch a bunch of new vehicles in this year targeting a tremendous growth in the automotive industry. Most of them are hybrid and electric versions as they are going to be the nearby future. Few of the names are Ford Focus 2012, Focus Electric, C-MAX Energi etc. Ford C-MAX Crossover is a very distinct vehicle which is built on a small platform but provides a space of big car. It is a very fresh concept and is hoped to blow up the market.

This new C-MAX comes with a 5+2 seat arrangement with a good flexibility and options. The first two rows seats 5 passengers comfortably whereas the third row picks two extra persons. The center seat of the second row can be folded and stowed under the cushion of the right seat to make an easy passage for the third row passenger. Also the second and third row seat can be folded flat for luggage or lengthy items. Rear doors are also built in sliding form allowing easy access in narrow areas. One more new smart feature of the car is that the rear tailgate can be opened handsfree, just a gentle leg motion under the rear bumper, and is done. There are motion sensors under the bumper which detect your shin and give green signal to the locks. One more feature that is mostly found in premium cars is the Start/Stop button with keyless entry. Ford C-MAX is also equipped with such feature in premium models, where the driver just had to carry the key in his pocket to unlock the doors. Then to start the car, one just had to press the brake pedal and then the Start button to activate the engine. Everything goes simple with this car.

The car will come with many more exciting features such as Sony Premium audio system, dynamic ride, torque vectoring control, Active Park assistant which comes with most of the Audi’s as Parallel Park and panoramic sunroof. The car’s exteriors are designed quite simple and that is the only thing that I doubted. Rest of the things like interiors, features and engine seems to be quite well equipped and will surely raise the appreciation for the Ford C-MAX. The pricing of this car is not available till now, but expect it to be priced around $20,000.
