Who says, I don’t know HUMMER???

Everybody has heard about HUMMER. It’s a huge jeep shaped vehicle, sized like a mini truck built to perform for sports and off road trips. Its powerful engine varies from 3.7ltr to 5.3ltr producing max power of 239Hp and 300Hp respectively. Although there are other versions with more power are also available, but they are less considered.

The story of HUMMER started in 1971 by American Motors Company that was sooner been noticed by the US Government. They signed a multibillion contract for building High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) which was later in 1992, was purchased by Renco Group. They introduced a civilian version of HMMWV, that is actually now known as HUMMER. Recently the brand rights were sold to China’s Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co, who are the producers of heavy duty trucks.

The HUMMERS are divided into 4 models, which are further divided into 3-4 variants varying in features and luxury. Here I’ll be providing information on H3 and H3T which are the latest ones from the breed. Let’s start with H3.

1) H3

The H3 versions are the most popular models of HUMMERS. These are at a very basic price range and are toughly built for off road purposes.

2) H3T

Variants: H3T, H3T Adventure, H3T Luxury and H3T Alpha

The next version of HUMMER is named as H3T which again varies into 4 variants. The main difference between H3T and H3 is the built model. H3 is a fully covered SUV including the rear luggage space, whereas H3T has an open cargo area at the back for adventure purposes.
