Cheverolet launched a D-segment car: Cruze

Cheverolet Cruze, a fresh face on the Indian roads in D-segment after the launch of  Beat. The car comes with loads of attractive features to compete against the Toyota Altis, Honda Civic, Honda City, Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Octavia. Its features and bold look both combine and make the car a perfect choice for guys seeking luxury with perfection. However, looks of Honda City can’t be beaten right now, it has truly awesome looks. But still, Cruze is made for simply perfection seekers, so I guess no problems with the looks.
Cruze is launched in India with 2 variants, LT and LTZ, both are diesel engines and are powered by a 1991cc, In-line Advanced VCDi (Variable Geometry Turbo Common Rail Direct Injection) generating the maxpower of 150bhp at 4000rpm with maximum torque of 320Nm at 2000rpm. As the torque is great at low rpm, the car boasts a very good acceleration. Fuel efficiency on highway is 18.3 kmpl and inside city is 14kmpl, so can be called a fuel efficient car.
Interiors are designed with dual tone beige color dashboard and leather upholstery. Premium quality leather covered steering wheel and gear knob keeps the hands move in pleasures. There is a slight touch of aluminium effect trims at the doors, steering wheel and meters console.
The car comes packed with lots of features like height adjustable front seats, climate control AC, front and rear power windows with a one touch down button on the driver seat, height adjustable hydraulic power steering, 6 CD Blaupunkt stereo with 6 speakers and USB and auxiliary in socket, automatic lightning control, automatic rain sensitive wipers, rear parking distance sensors, cruise control( lets you set a constant speed without pressing the accelerator), Seat armrest with illuminated glove box, front seatbelt reminder, tiltable headrest, central locking, child locks, steering mounted audio controls, keyless entry, leather seats, heated front seats and ABS with EBD. Few features might be left out here taking into consideration that power steering, split rear seats, rear spoilers etc are the standard features in this segment of cars.

The car has started rolling on the roads already and the feedbacks are also positive, and I guess the car will surely hit a lot of customer base. However the company has to work with its ground clearance which is low according to the situations of Indian roads. The price range of Cruze varies from Rs. 12,90000 to Rs.13,84000 approximately.
