Beetle-Front-Rear

Volkswagen, the German car manufacturing company, only believes in manufacturing The Perfect Machines. When I was reviewing the specifications of the cars, which being launched in India, I was a bit confused in features because I had never heard of them. The luxurious features were all by default with many other extra ones. Here in this review, I’ll be concentrating on the Beetle car, the classic luxury.

The elegant Beetle will surely stick to your heart in its first view. The 1984cc, 4 cylinder engine gives 116PS of max power to the car at 5400 rpm of torque. Nobody would demand any more power for such a small car. Recorded top speed is 180 km/h and the acceleration is good, but can’t be said awesome with it’s 100kmph in 11.3 seconds. The car comes with 6 speed automatic transmission to maintain the luxurious aspects of Volkswagen.

Exteriors are for those people who have love for the classic looks. The design resembles exactly an old car coming out with loads of features. The headlights, taillights, rear spoiler and fog lamps are seamlessly integrated into the car maintaining the classic look.

Beetle Interiors

Interiors are designed with all high grade materials and are smoothly designed except the front doors, looking overloaded with big handle, a basket, speaker and extra controls. The dashboard unit includes an mp3 player with aux-in to connect the music gadgets (Of course USB is missing). There is a glove box above the rear view mirror to hide your extra things on the go and below this box is an LCD display showing external temp and time. Steering is height adjustable but could have been better if at least the stereo controls could have been there on it. Looking to the whole interior concept, the car cannot be resisted. There are so many other features that surely make the car stand distinct in the race. A  Few of them are Climate A/C, dust and pollen filter, electrically adjustable door mirrors, front electric power windows with anti pinch operation, Height adjustable front seats, 6CD mp3 player with aux-in and 6 speakers, central locking, ABS, rear fog lamps, heated front seats and many others.

So overall, the car is a good choice of luxury and comes with a very good price tag too. It is going to cost around Rs.20 lakhs so one can either go for a Mercedes also ( if not a classic car lover) by adding a few more bucks. So, if sticking to the cost factor, the car is strictly for those who have deep love with classic time and can spend their extra money to this car rather then other luxurious ones.
